Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use Maplewood Residents Directory. By continuing to use the service, you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.

1. Nature of the Service

Maplewood Residents Directory is a private reference that describes and links to public record indexes, rolls, and directory collections related to Maplewood, Minnesota. It does not host government records and has no affiliation with a custodian, court, or government office.

2. Permitted Use

Use the service lawfully. You may not use it or material reached through it to:

  • Stalk, harass, threaten, intimidate, or harm another person
  • Find a person protected by a restraining or protective order
  • Commit fraud or identity theft
  • Make a decision regulated by the FCRA, including credit, employment, tenant, or insurance decisions
  • Scrape, copy, or republish the service at scale
  • Disrupt the service’s security or operation

3. No Consumer Reports

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq. Neither this service nor results from linked tools are consumer reports, and they may not be used for any FCRA-governed eligibility decision.

4. Third-Party Links

Government portals, libraries, and search providers have their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control their content, data, fees, availability, or search results.

5. No Warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no promise that information is complete, accurate, current, or available, and no promise that an external portal will operate or return a particular result.

6. Liability Limits

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the operators are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or other damages arising from use of the service or a linked resource.

7. Indemnity

You agree to defend and hold the operators harmless from claims, demands, and reasonable attorney fees arising from misuse of the service or violation of these terms.

8. Site Materials

The original writing, design, logo, and layout are protected by copyright. Linking to pages and quoting brief attributed excerpts is permitted. Republishing full pages or systematically copying the service is not.

9. Revised Terms

We may post changes to these terms. Continued use after a revised version is posted means that version applies.

10. Access Restrictions

We may restrict or end access for a user who violates these terms or abuses the service, without notice where the law permits.

11. Minnesota Law

Minnesota law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Public-record access is governed by the Minnesota Government Data Practices Act, Minn. Stat. ch. 13, and related laws rather than these terms.

12. Severability

If a provision of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.

13. Questions
